I’m Kathleen Lynn, author of the Janet Hardy Suspense Series. By day, I’m a middle school special education teacher. In the evenings and on weekends, I’m working on my next suspense novel.
In my free time, you’ll usually find me exploring the woods, camping, watching wildlife, or spending time with my two Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, Brody and Bonnie. My cat, “Chairman” Spark, is convinced he supervises everything.

The Hardys and their Chocolate Lab Bronson move from the Oregon Coast to Northern Michigan and find out they weren’t ready for this bargain. The tiny cabin is uninhabitable. It’s interior and exterior is begging to reveal the machinations of a master serial killer.
Janet’s past career as a wildlife biologist and Jake’s job as an oil rig mechanic never prepared them for this!
They find bones in their back yard. Their dog knows there’s an intruder. Why don’t they pay attention to him? Jake’s job calls him away and Janet is left alone while he is out of town. When a power outage occurs and her dog is missing, Janet’s nerves are ready to break.
It’s hard to sleep at night when the previous owner is located. That is, his automobile and body, but not his head!
Is the killer stalking them? Will they have to abandon their tiny home dream? Will they ever feel safe?

A Special Note: This original artwork was created by my daughter, Chantal, years before Tiny Home Terror was published. Using one of her own photographs of a northern Michigan cabin and the surrounding Manistee National Forest, she imagined the world of Janet Hardy long before the novel reached readers. Although the published book now has a different cover, this artwork will always remind me where the journey began.
